Zlatan Ibrahimovic has reportedly agreed to join Manchester United on a one-year deal and an announcement could be made before Euro 2016.
According to Sky Sports sources, Jose Mourinho is keen to reunite with Sweden’s all-time top goalscorer having worked together at Inter Milan and the 34-year-old is said to have rejected lucrative offers from several Chinese clubs to play in the Premier League next season at Old Trafford.
‘Ibra’ has been teasing the media for weeks as to where his next destination will be after letting his contract with PSG run down, and will now try to add a Premier League winners’ medal to his glistening collection having won La Liga, Serie A, Ligue 1 and Dutch Eredivisie titles during his illustrious career.
The report also adds that Ibrahimovic is the only striker Mourinho is interested in signing this summer, but his imminent arrival will not jeopardise the future of breakthrough star Marcus Rashford who will be an integral part of the Red Devils’ forward line-up next season.
