Former Liverpool outcast Mario Balotelli is believed to be in talks with Las Palmas.
After leaving Anfield last summer the 26-year-old made the move to Ligue 1 side Nice, but he only signed a one-year deal and he is out of contract this summer.
So the Italy striker will be a free agent in July and Cope Canarias have reported that Gran Canaria-based club Las Palmas have made him a 12-month contract offer, with the option for a further 12 months.
And Balotelli, who has scored 17 goals in 27 appearances for Nice, could find himself in Primera Liga next season, after discussions between the parties.
The forward scored just one Premier League goal and netted only four times in 28 games in all competitions for Liverpool before he moved on a free.
