McDaid in line for Rovers return

Date published: Thursday 24th December 2009 10:05

McDaid, out of action since April 2008 after dislocating his knee and enduring further complications last season that required surgery, is expected to return to the bench, as is midfielder Brian Stock, who has spent the last three months on the sidelines with an ankle injury.

Rovers manager Sean O’Driscoll has no new injury or suspension worries, but midfielder Martin Woods remains sidelined with groin trouble, while long-term absentee Steve Brooker is not yet ready to return from an ankle injury.

O’Driscoll’s side are looking to close in on a play-off place after winning their last four league matches.
