Inter Milan are reportedly ready to rival neighbours AC Milan for the signature of Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini.
The 27-year-old has struggled to establish himself in the United first-team on a regular basis and initially attracted interest from seven-time European champions AC Milan, who failed in an initial bid to take the towering Belgian on loan.
Reports in the Gazetta dello Sport claim Inter have now entered the race for the former Everton star, who has made just six Premier League starts this term.
AC Milan chief Adriano Galliani admitted earlier this month he was keen to sign the player, and although he distanced himself from a move, news that rivals Inter now want him could force them into action.
United insist they have no desire to loan the player out, but could be tempted to sell should they get a bid anywhere near the £27.5m they paid the Toffees in September 2013.
Juventus and Roma were also linked with the player earlier this month, but have so far failed to follow up their initial interest in the player.
