Liverpool have officially unveiled their new home shirt for the 2018/19 season – with Mo Salah featuring in the photoshoot.

The shirt – as expected – is red, but features “linear stripes on the front of the shirt which are inspired by the landmark architecture of the redeveloped Main Stand,” according to the club’s official website.

Perhaps the most exciting thing for Liverpool fans however is the fact that star man Mo Salah features heavily in the promo for the new shirt.

In addition, the club will donate 125 shirts to local children from Anfield schools involved with the Red Neighbours programme to mark the end of their 125th year.

“Our kit isn’t just something we wear to play – it is part of who we are as a team,” said Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson.

“We feel immensely proud when pulling on the LFC home shirt, it means more to us than you could even imagine; after all, Liverpool Football Club is like no other. I have no doubt that our fans will love the new kit and will wear it with pride when supporting us this coming season.”
