Leicester City defender Liam Moore is ready to see out his contract at the club after turning down a new deal, sources have told TEAMtalk.com.
Moore has been left frustrated by Leicester’s decision to snub offers from Reading this summer, despite the defender seemingly not figuring in Claudio Ranieri’s plans.
The 23-year-old not been given a squad number or even a first team locker in the dressing room ahead of the 2016/17 Premier League season.
Reading are keen to sign Moore, but Leicester have turned down two bids from the Championship club and have even offered the centre-back a new deal even though he has banished from the first-team.
Moore has now been left in limbo by The Foxes’ stance and he is ready to see out the remaining 12 months of his contract before leaving the club on a free transfer next summer.
The former England Under-21 international, who had a spell on loan at Bristol City last season, is now preparing himself for a season playing for Leicester’s Under-23s in the newly created Premier League 2.
