Juventus and Spain forward Alvaro Morata has reportedly told Manchester United he will not sign for them if they confirm Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The 23-year-old striker netted just 12 goals in all competitions in the 2015/16 season, but has continued to be at the centre of attention with a whole host of clubs linked with a big-money transfer – the latest being a £40m move to Chelsea.
However, Jose Mourinho is also said to be an admirer of the former Real Madrid man, but La Gazzetta dello Sport say that the Red Devils will miss out on him if they complete the capture of free agent Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Morata reportedly wants to be guaranteed a first-team spot if he does leave Juventus and feels that his options would become limited with the arrival of the legendary Swedish striker.
The Manchester United hierarchy must now make a straight decision between the duo, while former club Real Madrid have until July 15 to exercise their buy-back clause.
