Jose Mourinho is reportedly furious at Manchester United’s lack of urgency to get a deal for Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic over the line.
The Red Devils have been linked with a move for the Croatian international for months and have reportedly had bids of £35million and £39.5million turned down by the Italian club.
United have already completed deals for Romelu Lukaku, Victor Lindelof and Nemanja Matic but The Independent claims that Mourinho wanted all of his business done before they left on their tour of the USA.
That hasn’t happened and the Daily Express says sources at United have revealed that Mourinho is frustrated at the lack of urgency that he believes has cost them a deal for Perisic.
Inter Milan boss Luciano Spalletti, speaking last week, insists that the deal is now “closed” and that he doesn’t want him to leave.
“There was a contact a few weeks ago, then the negotiation stopped, so for me it is closed,” Spalletti said.
“The more days that pass, the more difficult it becomes for us to find a replacement of his calibre.
“I’ll strongly oppose his sale.”
