Jose Mourinho has brushed off talk of managing Manchester United after fresh reports emerged of no agreement being in place.
Sky Sports have reported that Mourinho, 53, has no agreement in place to join United this summer after a series of reports over the last few months suggested the deal is all but done.
Italian sources this week claimed that the Portuguese coach was “hours away” from agreeing to replace Louis van Gaal as manager at Old Trafford.
However, it is understood that there has still been no formal approach from United with talk of Van Gaal seeing out the remaining one year of his contract continue to grow.
The Daily Mirror this morning reported: “Jose Mourinho has finally responded to the speculation surrounding him and the Manchester United manager’s position.”
In fact the former Chelsea boss was asked by a reporter in Mexico on Wednesday after taking charge of a FIFA Legends’ game against Mexico All-Stars, if he was looking to go to United.

Mourinho flippantly replied: “No, no, I’m looking to go to the hotel, have a nice dinner and enjoy the night with my guys.”
Probing further, the reporter then asked if there was any word at all on where he was going.
Mourinho, whose side lost the game 8-9, added: “Look, I’m looking for a new job, I lose the game here today, probably I’ll have no club.”
It’s safe to say Mourinho was keeping his cards pretty close to his chest, but he has admitted previously that he will start his new job in July.
He made that announcement just moments after Manchester United’s woeful performance against Liverpool in the Europa League last month.
Mourinho has been out of work since December when he was sacked by Chelsea for a second time.
