Eden Hazard: Form has been woeful this season

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has told Marc Wilmots to keep his mouth shut over Eden Hazard’s future after the Belgium coach talked up the player’s chances of joining Real Madrid.

The 24-year-old reigning Player of the Year was dropped by Mourinho for last Saturday’s 2-0 win over Aston Villa following a sluggish start to the season.

The player was restored to Chelsea’s line-up for the midweek Champions League draw against Dynamo Kiev, but that has not stopped rumours circulating that the player has been targeted by Real Madrid amid a falling out with Mourinho.

And Wilmots has now incurred the wrath of Mourinho after reportedly encouraging the out-of-form Belgian winger to consider a switch to the Spanish giants.

“When he is in the national team, I don’t open my mouth. Ever,” a disgruntled Mourinho said.

“But some people don’t have the same ethics and they comment when the players are at the club. That’s not my problem.”
