David Moyes was mocked on Twitter on Sunday after suggesting prior to Arsenal’s win at Aston Villa that the “jury is still out” on Mesut Ozil.
Ozil has been in sensational form for Arsenal this season and went into the game at Villa Park with an incredible 12 assists from 14 appearances in the Premier League.
Moyes, however, has clearly not been paying attention to the German’s exploits, leading to much derision on Twitter.
David Moyes on Ozil: "I still think the jury's out on him a bit". Wonder why he's unemployed.

David Moyes talking about Ozil like someone who hasn't watched much Premier League football of late.

“I think the jury’s still out on Mesut Ozil,” said Moyes. Any chance people can count ASSISTS Jury still out? What a statement

Ozil impressed again at Villa Park and recorded yet another assist when he unselfishly set up Aaron Ramsey for a tap-in after being sent clean through by Theo Walcott.
The 27-year-old now has 22 games to claim the additional eight assists he requires to break Thierry Henry’s record of 20 in a Premier League season, set in 2002-03.
Ozil has almost double the amount of assists as his nearest Premier League competitor, Everton’s Gerard Deulofeu, and more than any other player in Europe’s major five leagues. He has also created more chances in total than any other player.
Ozil, however, was not the only player to impress for Arsenal on Saturday, with Petr Cech and Olivier Giroud reaching milestones, while Aaron Ramsey served another reminder that his best position is in central midfield.
Arsenal are now unbeaten in 17 Premier League visits to Villa Park (W10 D7).
Petr Cech equalled David James’ record of 169 Premier League clean sheets.
Olivier Giroud scored his 50th Premier League goal for the Gunners in his 113th game. Only Thierry Henry (83) and Ian Wright (87) have reached the milestone quicker for Arsenal.
Aston Villa are now winless in 15 league games – the joint-longest current run in English football (along with York).
Giroud has scored nine goals in his last nine away games in all competitions for the Gunners.
Indeed, the French striker has also scored in each of his last five meetings with Villa in all competitions.
Mesut Ozil has had a hand in more goals against Villa than he has any other Premier League opponents (5, 2 goals and 3 assists).
Aston Villa had 18 shots to Arsenal’s eight (including blocked), though only two of these were on target.
