Serie A outfit Napoli are reportedly ready to make a summer move for Athletic Bilbao winger Inaki Williams.

The 22-year-old has been strongly linked with a switch to Liverpool when the summer transfer window opens, having had another outstanding season in La Liga.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is a known admirer of the Spanish attacker and is said to have sounded the player out over a possible switch to the Premier League in January.

But Napoli sporting director, Cristiano Giuntoli, thinks Williams would be a perfect replacement for the outgoing Christian Maggio, according to the report in Corriere dello Sport (via Calciomercato).

However, Williams himself has recently declared that he was happy to stay at Bilbao and that his agent would be dealing with any potential moves.
