Napoli have turned down Stoke City’s €25million offer for Manolo Gabbiadini, according to reports in Italy.

The 24-year-old frontman only signed for Napoli in January 2015 for €9million euros from Sampdoria, but he has been playing second fiddle to star man Gonzalo Higuain.

The forward, who can play on the right, scored five times in just four starts in Serie A, but the secondary striker often found himself on the bench, making 19 sub appearances.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Napoli have turned down an from Stoke and are demanding €30million for the player who has been capped by Italy once.

West Ham are also reportedly interested in the forward, but they are currently targeting Milan’s Carlos Bacca and Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette, but will step up their interest in the Italy man if they fail to acquire one of either Bacca or Lacazette.
