Alex Neil: Hoping to stay in charge at Norwich

Alex Neil admitted Norwich City weren’t good enough against Bournemouth as they were beaten 3-0 at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday.

Goals from Dan Gosling, Charlie Daniels from the penalty spot and Benik Afobe earned Bournemouth all three points and Neil said: “It was not a good afternoon for us.

“We did not perform well enough and Bournemouth deserved their win.

“We certainly did not do ourselves anywhere near justice in comparison to what we have been doing in recent weeks.”

Neil, whose side ran out 3-1 winners against Bournemouth back in September, added: “We had too may players under par. There players performed better than us on the day, and this is the same team that we beat comfortably start of the season. It was roles-reversed today.”
