New Blues deal for Adams

The 20-year-old’s current deal was due to expire in the summer but the Blues have extended his stay at St Andrew’s and have the option of a further 12 months.

Adams has spent time on loan this season with Conference side Lincoln, for whom he made 29 appearances.

He joined Birmingham in 2011 after progressing through West Ham’s academy and made his only first-team appearance to date as a late substitute in the third-round FA Cup win against Bristol Rovers in January 2014.
