Newcastle United are considering a move for a Burnley star in the summer transfer window, according to a report.
The Sun on Sunday claim that the Magpies are considering a summer bid for Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope after the goalkeeper impressed in recent games.
Pope was given an opportunity when Tom Heaton dislocated his shoulder in September, and the 25-year-old has made the most of his increased game time.
The report claims that Newcastle will make a move for the former Charlton man at the end of the season should he return to the bench when Heaton returns.
However, a recent report from the Daily Mirror suggests that Martin Dubravka could become a permanent signing for just £4million.
If Dubravka continues to impress between the sticks like he did in his debut against Manchester United, it is expected that Newcastle will pay the fee.
