Brentford midfielder Nico Yennaris has signed a new long-term contract with the club.
The 24-year-old, who had two years remaining on his existing deal, has put pen to paper on a four-year contract to extend his stay at Griffin Park until the summer of 2021.
“We are really pleased that Nico has agreed the contract extension. He has become an integral part of the team, as his appearances last season have shown,” Brentford boss Dean Smith told the club’s official website.
“He is continuing to improve in all aspects of his game and is becoming an accomplished goalscoring midfielder in the Championship.”

Yennaris came through the ranks at Arsenal, where he played four times, and joined Brentford for an undisclosed fee in January 2014.
He has since made 93 appearances for the Bees in all competitions and was an ever-present for the club last season.
