Canaries boss Chris Hughton rates his chances as “touch and go”, while striker Gary Hooper is still out with a shin problem but should be fit for the Tottenham game following the international break.

Midfielder Elliott Bennett is recovering from surgery on a cruciate ligament injury.

Steven Davis came into the Southampton side and notched a brace in the 5-1 Capital One Cup win against Barnsley in midweek and he will be hoping to retain his place in central midfield.

Duo Guly do Prado and Jos Hooiveld will be assessed ahead of Saturday’s trip. Both missed Tuesday’s win through illness and could be absent again at Carrow Road.

Pochettino confirmed several other unnamed players need to be looked at, while record signing Dani Osvaldo could make his full debut in East Anglia.
