Norwich v Tottenham preview

Norwich have no fresh injury concerns ahead of the game but defender Kyle Naughton, on loan from Spurs, will miss the match through suspension after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season against Wolves in midweek.

Former Everton striker James Vaughan is on course for a return in the New Year from his knee problem, along with centre-back Elliott Ward (knee). On-loan Manchester United defender Ritchie de Laet (back) could return.

Tottenham forward Rafael van der Vaart is likely to miss the game after suffering a hamstring injury in Thursday night’s 1-1 draw against Chelsea.

Spurs will give tests to Jermain Defoe and Younes Kaboul (both hamstring) before deciding whether they will play any part in the clash at Carrow Road.

Ledley King is unlikely to play having completed two games in five days while Aaron Lennon (hamstring), Michael Dawson (Achilles) and Tom Huddlestone (ankle) are out.
