Norwich yet to follow up Brady interest

Norwich have made several bids for Brady this summer as they look to strengthen their squad for the Premier League, but the 22-year-old played 65 minutes of the Tigers’ friendly win at Chesterfield on Tuesday night and is now looking increasingly likely to remain at the KC Stadium.

“As we stand at the minute it seems like a bit of a stalemate,” Bruce told the Hull Daily Mail after the game.

“They (Norwich) put in a bid 10 days ago which was rejected and I hope they don’t make another one.

“We’ve made a stance on it and made ourselves pretty clear. Unless they meet the valuation that the owners want, then he will remain a Hull City player. It’s as simple as that.

“You’re never going to question Robbie’s attitude. He’s a really good young player. We all know that and we all desperately hope he’ll stay.”

Dame N’Doye also appeared for Hull, as a second-half substitute, and Bruce is hoping he too remains at the club despite interest from Besiktas.

Bruce added: “Hopefully that goes quiet too because it’ll make my life a little bit easier. If we can hold on to the nucleus of the squad, as we’ve watched it here, we’ve got a good chance.”
