Nottingham Forest have signed Leeds midfielder Liam Bridcutt on a three-year deal.

The Scotland international has spent the last two years at Elland Road, the first on loan, and was Leeds’ captain last season.

New manager Thomas Christiansen has been unable to guarantee the 28-year-old regular action, though.

Talk of a move to Forest, who face Leeds on Saturday, started last week and the clubs announced the move on Tuesday morning.

“Everyone at Leeds United would like to thank Liam for his hard work and we wish him well for the future,” the Whites said.
