Divock Origi is enjoying life at Liverpool and determined to prove himself at Anfield as he learns from the likes of Daniel Sturridge and Christian Benteke.
Origi has failed to score in nine appearances for the Reds this season, despite starting in four successive games following the appointment of Jurgen Klopp due to Sturridge and Benteke’s injuries.
The 20-year-old acknowledges he needs to learn from Liverpool’s more proven strikers but is not downbeat about his lack of goals for the club so far.
“It’s been nice to join a big club like Liverpool and I am enjoying myself,” Origi said at the launch of the Liverpool FC Signature Collection.
“There’s a great atmosphere in the club and I am trying to help the team.
“It’s always nice to play with big players. I can learn a lot from the likes of Daniel and Christian (Benteke). I want to prove myself to the new manager and gain more experience.”
Sturridge added: “I’ve been very impressed by Divock and it’s been great to see him get some opportunities. It’s important for the likes of myself to help him settle in and improve.”
