Michael Owen admits he has been disappointed by Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s performances since joining Manchester United.
Ibrahimovic joined United on a free transfer amid much excitement this summer and has scored six goals in his first eight starts for the Red Devils.
The Swede scored the only goal in the 1-0 victory over Zorya Luhansk and was among the better rated players, but former United striker Owen was unimpressed.
“His movement disappoints me a bit,” pundit Owen told BT Sport.
“He just stands a lot. Because of his height he gets away with it.
“There was no movement from him. He just tends to stand at the back post and wait for the ball.
“There were a few crosses tonight and he stayed in the same position.”
