Arsenal have entered the running for a £35million Tottenham target, while a Liverpool outcast could find himself on the move to Italy with Roma, according to Tuesday’s newspapers.
ARSENAL ENTER RUNNING TO SIGN PSG WINGER
Arsenal and Tottenham are locked in a £35m battle for PSG winger Lucas Moura after the Gunners had a change of heart over the deal.
The Gunners had decided they would only pursue the Brazilian on a loan deal, but Tottenham’s decision to rival Napoli in an effort to sign the player on a permanent deal means the Gunners have now changed their stance.
And the Daily Express reckons Arsene Wenger wants the Brazilian to form a new-look attacking line-up at Emirates Stadium alongside Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette, with Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Mesut Ozil providing the supply line in behind.
PSG are looking to sell Moura this month for a fee of around £35million. The player has admitted he is unhappy by his lack of playing time and wants to move to enhance his chances of making Brazil’s World Cup squad.
