Ivan Perisic: Looks set to stay at Inter Milan

Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United are all pondering making a move for Inter Milan midfielder Ivan Perisic, according to today’s papers.

CHELSEA JOIN SEMEDO RACE

Chelsea have joined Manchester United in the race to sign Benfica defender Nelson Semedo, according to A Bola.

The 23-year-old has been capped by Portugal and Benfica want £34.5million for the player, who is also believed to be a target for Jose Mourinho.

Blues boss Antonio Conte is eager to some competition for his defenders as they look to continue their assault on the Premier League.

Benfica legend Antonio Veloso last month said: “Nelson Semedo is an extraordinary player and is still on the rise,” Veloso said.

“He is very fast, he works well in the defensive and offensive aspect and there have been interested clubs, which is natural.

JUVENTUS WATCH CAN

Liverpool midfielder Emre Can is attracting the interest of Juventus, according to reports on Sunday.

​Juventus have sent scouts to watch the Germany international as they look to add a central midfielder to their squad.

The Corriere dello Sport claims Juve representatives were present at last week’s 1-1 draw with Manchester United and are running the rule over the 23-year-old, who has made 16 appearances and scored three times this season.

Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri still has not replaced Paul Pogba, who left for Manchester United in the summer and Can is one of three players Juve are tracking.

Mahmoud Dahoud of Borussia Moenchengladbach and Lyon’s Corentin Tolisso also believed to be on Juve’s list of targets.
