Gareth Bale: Not happy in Madrid

Gareth Bale’s agent has been told by the player to “sound out” Manchester United over a potential summer move and Louis van Gaal is set to return to management.

‘ENRAGED’ REAL STAR BALE LINKED WITH UNITED…AGAIN

“Enraged” Gareth Bale has instructed his agent to court Manchester United after falling out with Real Madrid’s hierarchy, according to a report in Spain.

Spanish news outlet Diario Gol claim Bale is so upset with Florentino Perez and Zinedine Zidane that he has asked his representative Jonathan Barnett to “sound out” United and the possibility of a return to the Premier League.

Bale, 27, has a contract at the Bernabeu untile June 2019 but he is believed to be looking for an extension and so far that has not been forthcoming from the La Liga club.

The forward was also subbed in Real’s 1-1 draw with Villarreal on Wednesday night – a fact which left the Wales star “scowling”.

A Real insider told Diario Gol: “Bale was enraged. He was scowling.”

Jose Mourinho is believed to be secretly keen on a deal for Bale, which would eclipse the £89million they paid fro Paul Pogba this summer.

Bale moved to Real from Tottenham for £85million in 2013 and he has scored 49 goals in 85 games for Los Blancos.

It’s not the first time Bale has been linked with United, but usually it’s Real Madrid on the end of these types of unsettling reports.
