Ryan Bertrand has told his Southampton team-mates he is leaving and Antoine Griezmann has agreed a £280,000-a-week deal with Manchester United, all in the papers.

BERTRAND ON CHELSEA, LIVERPOOL RADARS

Ryan Bertrand wants to leave Southampton and Chelsea and Liverpool are reportedly interested.

The Daily Mirror claims the 27-year Bertrand has “made it clear to team-mates that he thinks he will be on his way” and his former club Chelsea are keen.

Bertrand joined Southampton on loan initially before agreeing a permanent transfer two years ago and her has establish himself as an England international.

The Londoner still lives in the area and Antonio Conte wants to strengthen his wing-back options.

Meanwhile, Liverpool also want a left-back after using James Milner as a makeshift full-back all season.

The path from Southampton to Liverpool is also a well-trodden path with Adam Lallana and Dejan Lovren moving between the clubs in recent years.

GRIEZMANN AGREES £280,000-A-WEEK DEAL

Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann has agreed personal terms on a five-year Manchester United contract, according to The Sun.

The report claims the deal is worth £280,000 a week, while United have agreed to match Griezmann’s £89million buy-out clause – meaning the combined package, plus bonuses could exceed £170million.

The France forward, 26, was concerned about United not qualifying for the Champions League, but he “has been given assurances about other signings and an increase in the original contract offer”.

Jose Mourinho’s men could still reach the Champions League if they win the Europa League, but their path in the Premier League looks a tricky one with United a point behind Man City in fourth with four games to go.
