Dimitri Payet could leave West Ham for £15million and Liverpool will have to battle to sign an Atalanta teenager, all in today’s papers.

LIVERPOOL AND SPURS EYE HERNANDEZ

Liverpool and Tottenham are planning moves to sign former Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez in January.

Both clubs want the 28-year-old Bayer Leverkusen man to add firepower to their respective squads, according to the Daily Mirror.

Valencia are also believed to be keen on the Mexico striker and their interest “could force” the Premier League clubs to act next month.

And the La Liga club are believed to be prepared to meet Hernandez’ £33.5million buyout clause.

Spurs would certainly not be prepared to pay so much for the player, while Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is rumoured to be focusing his attention more on a wide player.

Could it be nonsense? Most probably…
