Arsenal have been told to forget about Andre Silva, while Liverpool will sign Quincy Promes and have targeted a Forest teenager, all in Sunday’s papers.

LIVERPOOL TARGET DOUBLE DEAL

Liverpool will try to sign Quincy Promes this month, while they are also keen on landing Nottingham Forest starlet Ben Brereton, accoridng to the Sunday Mirror.

Spartak Moscow forward Promes has been on the Anfield club’s radar for some time and recently Georginio Wijnaldum urged the club to make a move for his fellow Dutchman.

Apparently Jurgen Klopp thinks Promes can come in and hit the ground running at Anfield this month and replace Sadio Mane, who has left for the Africa Cup of Nations.

Spartak want £25million for the man, who only agreed a new long-term deal at the start of the season, but there is now other Premier League interest in the player and they are set to make a move for the player.

Meanwhile, chief scout Barry Hunter has enquired about Forest star Brereton.

The teen striker has been playing for Forest’s Under-23s at age 17, and has long beenon the radar of Manchester United.

Brereton has not been out of place in the U23s and has scored 15 goals in 20 games and Klopp wants to snap him up.
