Paper Talk: Man Utd close in on targets; Aurier wanted in London

Manchester United will spend around £130million on strikers Alvaro Morata and Andrea Belotti, while their three other targets are revealed and Tottenham want a France star, all in the papers.

Jose Mourinho wants to sign Real Madrid’s Alvaro Morata and Torino’s Andrea Belotti in a bid to revamp his forward line, claim reports.

The Independent says Mourinho wants Morata and Belotti on board “in the next two weeks”, while he has targeted three other players.

United have agreed terms with Morata and are hoping to agree a fee of around £60m with Madrid for the player, while Tuttosport report United have lodged a bid of around £70m for Belotti.

There were suggestions that Belotti was a back-up option if United failed to agree a deal for Spain star Morata, but now it appears Mourinho wants to sign both players.

Numerous sources report that Sweden centre-half Victor Lindelof is now fully expected to join United after this international break, while Monaco midfielder Fabinho and Ivan Perisic of Inter are the other players on Mourinho’s shopping list.

Serge Aurier: A reported target for both Manchester clubs

Tottenham are interested in Paris Saint-Germain full-back Serge Aurier, according to the Daily Mirror.

Mauricio Pochettino will move for the 24-year-old France international if Kyle Walker leaves White Hart Lane.

Manchester City want England defender Walker and are expected to make a move for the £60m-rated player in the next month.

Aurier has two years left on his contract with PSG and “is eager to explore his options abroad despite being offered a new deal at the club”.
