Paper Talk: Mourinho makes shock Pogba call; £57m Liverpool hope

Jose Mourinho has made a decision on the future of Paul Pogba, while Liverpool are still chasing a £57m midfielder, according to Wednesday’s papers.

MOURINHO MAKES POGBA CALL

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has given the green light to sell midfielder Paul Pogba, according to a report.

The Daily Mail claims on Wednesday that Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola has even offered the Frenchman to Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain.

Pogba has struggled to hit consistent form this season under Mourinho amid claims that he has a difficult relationship with his Portuguese boss.

It is unknown whether the Parisians would be able to afford the former Juventus star due to possible Financial Fair Play sanctions.

Real Madrid and Barcelona are also possible destinations, but the report claims there has been “little interest” from Spain so far.

Manchester City, Chelsea and Juventus are the only other European clubs who could afford Pogba, the Mail goes on to state.

Pep Guardiola revealed earlier this month that Raiola offered Pogba to Manchester City in January.
