Paper Talk: Simeone on Arsenal job; Real eye Man City quartet

Diego Simeone: Reduced his contract

Real Madrid are targeting a raid on Manchester City for four top stars, while Arsenal are ready to rival Man Utd and Chelsea for a Roma midfielder, according to Thursday’s papers.

REAL TARGET KEY MAN CITY QUARTET

Real Madrid are reportedly considering moves for four Manchester City players – forwards Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling, playmaker Kevin de Bruyne and defender John Stones.

Real supremo Florentino Perez is preparing a big overhaul of the playing staff at The Bernabeu after a poor season domestically, while the long-term future of boss Zinedine Zidane is also in doubt.

According to the Manchester Evening News it would appear that four City stars are very much on Perez’s radar.

Reports in Spain claim that Real are preparing a £70million bid for Sane, while the La Liga giants are also said to be willing to pay up to £175m to land De Bruyne.

Sterling has enjoyed the best season of his career to date, prompting City to offer him a bumper new deal, and although Stones has struggled to earn a regular starting spot during the second half of the campaign it would appear that Pep Guardiola has no plans to let him leave.

Indeed the MEN states that City will tell the La Liga giants in no uncertain terms that the quartet are not for sale at any price.
