Paper Talk: Douglas Costa’s £40m Premier League link

Toni Kroos wants time to think over his future this summer, while Douglas Costa is a target for Manchester United and David de Gea finally wants out, all in the papers.

KROOS WANTS TIME TO THINK OVER FUTURE

Germany midfielder Toni Kroos has reportedly asked Real Madrid for some leeway as he decides his next step.

Diario Gol claim the reliable central midfielder wants 30 days to decide what he wants to do after the World Cup finshes on July 15.

Kroos, 27, is reportedly Jose Mourinho’s top Manchester United summer transfer target and news of his uncertain future will be music to his ears.

The Germany World Cup-winner had the option of signing for United or Real Madrid in the summer of 2014, but chose the La Liga giants in a move which cost Real £20million.

But after wining La Liga and two Champions League trophies in three years after leaving Bayern, Kroos is sure he made the right choice.

“My change of team was correct – in fact, from my point of view there is no doubt about it,” said Kroos in October.

Kroos is under contract until 2022 and reportedly has a mammoth release clause of £443million.
