Alan Pardew says his Crystal Palace team will fight their way out of their nine-match winless run.
Two goals from Watford’s Troy Deeney, one from the penalty spot, earned the visitors a 2-1 win at Selhurst Park and boss Pardew admitted his side, who levelled on the stroke of half-time through Emmanuel Adebayor were on a “tricky run”.
“We were not good in the first half. We were much improved in the second half and should have won it, so a bit of a blow to lose the game,” said Pardew.
“We made a slight error on the Watford winner. I can’t think of too much of a threat they had in the second half, but that is what it is for us.
“We are on a tricky run and need to fight out way out of this form.”
