Antonio Conte admitted he was disappointed to see his side concede a late consolation goal, but could not otherwise complain.
Chelsea took another big step towards the Premier League title but, while the Italian boss Conte was happy with the overall performance, Olivier Giroud’s late header left a sour taste.
“It was a good game,” he said. “It wasn’t easy against a really good team with a lot of good players. We played a good game with good intensity and good organisation.
“I’m really pleased for my players because I think they are deserving of this
“I’m a little disappointed for the goal we conceded to Arsenal
“I repeat is important to try always to improve and keep the concentration in the right way from the start until the end.
“In the second part of the game we conceded a bit of chances to Arsenal.
“Also we created a lot of chances to score the other goals but it’s a pity that we conceded one goal today.”
