PL pre-match stats: Pulis’ fine record

West Brom gaffer and former Stoke boss Tony Pulis has never lost a Premier League home game against Liverpool (W3 D3) and he’ll be protecting that record again on Saturday.

Arsenal host Chelsea on Sunday having won just two of their last 12 league clashes with the Blues (D2 L8) and in fact Jose Mourinho has never lost as an opposition coach against Arsene Wenger in any competition (W7 D5 L0).

Chelsea have kept four clean sheets in their last six clashes with Arsenal and will take one step closer to the title with another victory.

Manchester United also face Everton on Sunday having lost their last two league trips to Goodison 1-0.

Southampton take on Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham looking to improve on their tally of just eight goals in their last 11 games.

Aston Villa will be aiming to ease their drop fears against Man City at The Etihad.

In the relegation dogfight Sunderland travel to Stoke, QPR host West Ham, Newcastle take on Swansea, Palace face Hull and Burnley take on Leicester in a ‘six-pointer’.

Southampton v Tottenham Hotspur

Southampton have allowed fewer shots on target against them than any other team in the Barclays Premier League (93).
