Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has admitted that “it is part of his dreams” to one day return to manage one of his former clubs Paris Saint-Germain.
Spurs are on course for their highest-ever Premier League finish under the Argentine’s guidance after their style of play earned the Argentine plenty of admirers.
Pochettino has been linked with the Manchester United job, but the 44-year-old appears to have set his sights on one day managing at a club here he played between 2001 and 2003.
“I have always said that one day it would be a pleasure to manage a big club like Paris. It’s part of my dreams,” he told French radio station RMC.
“I try to watch all of their games, especially in the Champions League and sometimes I speak with [PSG assistant coach] Jean-Louis Gasset.”
“Will I return to Paris one day? Why not?”
