Mauricio Pochettino will not put a limit on his ambitions for Tottenham in the Premier League this season after their 1-1 draw at Arsenal.
Harry Kane fired Tottenham into a deserved first-half lead at Emirates Stadium on Sunday before Kieran Gibbs bundled home 13 minutes from the end to earn the Gunners a share of the spoils in the 82nd north London derby.
Tottenham remain unbeaten in the Premier League since their opening-day defeat to Manchester United, but Pochettino believes things could have been even better for his side.
“With the way we played, and the chances we created, I think we deserved to win the game,” said the Argentine.
“I am very proud of my players in the way we performed and the character we showed because having to play three games in six days is always difficult.
“But I am very pleased with the players, because we showed maturity in a very young squad.
Pochettino added: “We are very happy with the way our philosophy is developing and today was a good example to show the belief in the way we want to play and from that, our supporters can be very proud.
“It is important not to set a limit, we are ambitious people and always think about winning the next game, but the end of the season is far away.”
