Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino admits Chelsea are still favourites for the Premier League title despite the “pressure” being on them to win against Manchester United.
Spurs tore Bournemouth apart in the early kick-off at White Hart Lane on Saturday with goals from Moussa Dembele, Son Heung-min, Harry Kane and Vincent Janssen giving them a 4-0 victory.
The result reduces the gap to four points on Antonio Conte’s men at the top of the standings with Chelsea playing at Old Trafford on Sunday.
“We got the three points and now the pressure is on Chelsea to win in Old Trafford,” said Pochettino.
“It would be fantastic if tomorrow night, after the game, the gap is still four points.
“Four points is still a lot. If they don’t get the win tomorrow we’ll see. They’re still the favourites to win the Premier League.
“We are fighting to be there, for the top four. For the second consecutive season we are there and I think it is fantastic for the players.”
