Price tag puts Juventus off a move for Arsenal star

Juventus have targeted Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin, but have been out off by his price tag, according to a report from Italy.

Barcelona and Manchester City are understood to be tracking the right-back, but according to Tuttosport Juve have set their sights on the 22-year-old.

However, the player is under contract until 2023 and made his Spain debut in May 2016 and such has been Bellerin’s progress at Arsenal over the last few years they have, per the source, placed a £40million price tag on his head.

That is a fee that Juventus will not be able to meet, but Bellerin remains their number one January target, although they are likely to have to look elsewhere with no chance of the Gunners dropping their price for the player.

He has established himself as Arsene Wenger’s No. 1 right-back since he arrived at The Emirates in 2011 and he has started all 11 Premier League game this season, playing every minute.

The Italian giants lost Dani Alves last summer and have not yet replaced the Brazil international, prompting them to move for Bellerin.
