Queens Park Rangers are preparing a move for Huddersfield Town defender Joel Lynch, sources have told TEAMtalk.com.
QPR boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has identified Lynch as one of his top targets as he looks to build a side capable of challenging for promotion next season.
Lynch has established himself as a key player at Huddersfield since his arrival from Nottingham Forest in the summer of 2012.
The 28-year-old was almost a virtual ever-present for Huddersfield last season, making 40 appearances, and Terriers boss David Wagner is a big fan of the Wales international.
Huddersfield are determined to keep him Lynch, but with the player entering the final year of his contract at the John Smith’s Stadium QPR are ready to test their resolve with a bid for the centre-back.
