QPR v Sunderland preview

admin

QPR manager Neil Warnock must decide whether to replace Radek Cerny with fit-again Paddy Kenny against Sunderland.

Anton Ferdinand is a doubt for the game because of a hamstring injury, as is Danny Gabbidon who has a gashed leg.

Jay Bothroyd is struggling with a knee problem while Kieron Dyer is out for the season after undergoing foot surgery.

Sunderland striker Connor Wickham has fluid on his knee after landing awkwardly during Sunday’s 1-0 defeat at Tottenham, and manager Martin O’Neill has admitted he could be struggling.

However, O’Neill is hopeful that Phil Bardsley (thigh) and Wes Brown, who did not train on Monday because of illness and a sore knee, will make it, while Craig Gordon and Fraizer Campbell (both knee) continue to work their way back to full fitness.
