The 29-year-old has been offered a new contract with the Tigers, believed to be on reduced terms, and Steve Bruce is keen to keep hold of the former Sheffield United man.

Quinn is currently on international duty with the Republic of Ireland and preparing for Saturday’s crucial European qualifier with Scotland.

Speaking after training with the Irish squad before Saturday’s Dublin clash, Quinn said: “Obviously it would be great if I was back in the Premier League next season but I have to see over the course of the summer.

“That’s really where I want to ply my trade. And I’m not getting any younger, I’m 29 now, but I still feel fit and healthy and I’ve got a lot of football in me so we’ll see.

“My agent is speaking to people but I don’t really find out until after this weekend. I’d rather sit down after the Scotland game and discuss my future with my agent and see what happens.

“I just left it to my agent and the club to speak to each other. It was more important for me to concentrate on this game, it’s such a massive, massive game. So I’m going to sit down next week with my agent and then speak to Hull and come to some sort of a decision.”
