Reading defender Tiago Ilori has returned to training after recovering from a head wound and could feature in their clash against leaders Wolves.

Goalkeeper Vito Mannone has been carrying a hip problem but is expected to be fit, as is forward Sone Aluko who picked up a knock against Derby before the international break.

Midfielder Liam Kelly (hamstring) could be involved, along with striker Sam Smith (knee), and Joey van den Berg should be available after being sidelined by a suspected concussion. Striker Jon Dadi Bodvarsson is closing in on a return from his calf injury.

Winger Callum Harriott (hamstring), midfielders George Evans (thigh) and Garath McCleary (groin) all continue their rehabilitation. Defender Jordan Obita is out for the season after major surgery on his anterior cruciate ligament.

Barry Douglas is suspended for Wolves as they head to the Royals.

The wideman is out after collecting his fifth booking of the season in the 2-0 win over Fulham earlier this month.

Midfielder Ruben Neves is one yellow card away from a suspension of his own after collecting four cautions so far but Wolves have no fresh injury worries.

Romain Saiss and Alfred N’Diaye will return after helping Morocco and Senegal respectively qualify for the World Cup in Russia next summer.
