Red-hot Rovers put three past Palace

Neil Warnock’s side came into the game on the back of a six-match unbeaten run and Neil Danns wasted a good chance before Billy Sharp put the visitors in front just before the break by sidefooting home James Chambers’ cross.

Doncaster then took control after half-time and Martin Woods’ fine finish from John Oster’s pinpoint cross doubled their lead just after the hour.

With Palace rocked by going 2-0 down, Doncaster sensed their chance to kill the game off and did so with 12 minutes remaining when Sharp turned provider for James Hayter who finished well from 12 yards.

The defeat sees the hosts drop to 13th in the table, three places above Rovers.
