Harry Redknapp has amazingly ruled Sam Allardyce out of the running for the vacant manager’s job at Sunderland.
Redknapp, who has been out of work since resigning as boss of QPR in February also ruled himself out of the running, despite not being in the shake-up, but more interestingly he claimed Allardyce won’t want the job either.
“No I am not in the running and I don’t know whether Sam wants it. Sam is a confident guy with a big ego and he won;t take it if he doesn’t think he can keep them up,” said Redknapp from the inside of his car.
“He won’t want to get relegated with them. They seem to be in the same situation every year.
They’ve not recruited very well and they have not brought good players in.
“I saw them play at Bournemouth and they were a disaster,” Redknapp told Kicca.

Former West Ham and Tottenham boss Redknapp also questioned Spurs and Chelsea’s transfer activity and questioned who was buying the players at those clubs.
