Arsenal have been offered the chance to sign Barcelona midfielder Rafinha, according to Sky Sports.

The 24-year-old has not travelled to the USA with his teammates as he continues to recover from a knee injury.

Sky Sports claim that “sources close to the 24-year-old believe Barcelona would listen to offers of more than €30m”, and that Arsenal have been contacted regarding his availability.

This goes against what Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu said last week about the player, as he insisted that the player would not be sold.

When asked about his future last month, Rafinha said: “My future is open and God only knows what will happen.”

Spanish publication Marca claimed last month that Rafinha was interested in a move to North London, should the opportunity arise.
