Robins in fine fettle for Pirates trip

Robins manager Danny Wilson is expected to name the same starting XI that saw off Leyton Orient 3-2 last weekend, which would mean a continuation of the lethal strike partnership emerging between Charlie Austin and Billy Paynter.

Austin, plucked from non-league Poole Town in October, has been a revelation for the club of late, scoring four times in his last three appearances.

He and Paynter, meanwhile, have combined to score eight of the Wiltshire outfit’s previous 10 league goals, which has seen them take 10 points from a possible 12.

Commanding midfielder Jonathan Douglas was a doubt heading into last Saturday’s clash at the County Ground with a knee problem, but he played the entire 90 minutes and will line up once again.

Winger Alan O’Brien will be keen to continue his recovery from the bench, while long-term absentees Lloyd Macklin, Hasney Aljofree and Kurt Hammonds continue to miss out but are all making good progress.
