Former Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is in talks with Celtic about the vacant manager’s job, according to reports.
Sky Sports claim that Rodgers, 43, is considering the option of managing in the Scottish Premier League after being out of work since October.
Rodgers, who sacked by Liverpool in October 2015, is now the odds-on favourite with the bookies, ahead of former manager Neil Lennon and Roy Keane.
“Well, it’s an incredible club, a club that family and everyone support,” he told Sky Sports.
“Obviously the league isn’t so competitive but Celtic are one of the great iconic clubs in the world, a huge club.

“I think Ronny has done a great job there, it looks like they will go on and win the title so that is two titles in a row.
“So I’ll be sad to see him go but there is an opportunity for somebody there to go to a great club.”
