Roma have reportedly set Leicester City a deadline for a decision on star man Riyad Mahrez.
According to Sky Italia, the Serie A club have told Leicester they must hear back by August 15 after they made a club-record £31.8m bid for the Foxes playmaker.
The report claims that if Roma do not get a response by midnight on Tuesday, they will withdraw their interest completely in the Algeria winger and turn their attention elsewhere.
The Giallorossi saw bids of £20m and £27m rejected after the 26-year-old confirmed he wanted to leave the club this summer.
Roma are seeking re-enforcements on the wing after they lost Mohamed Salah to Liverpool, but according to the Leicester Mercury the only clubs who could likely tempt Mahrez away from the Premier League are Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Catalan paper Sport claim that Mahrez’s representatives offered the player to Barcelona, but they declined as they are focusing on Philippe Coutinho and Ousmane Dembele.
